New Vocations/ CANTER Ohio All Breed Stallion Season Auction January 5th- 12th

New Vocations is the largest non-profit Standardbred and Thoroughbred adoption program in the United States. Our mission is to find caring homes for retired, non-competitive and often injured racehorses after their racing career has ended. In 2007, New Vocations placed over 300 horses to carefully screened and monitored homes.

Each year, New Vocations holds several fund raising events to help support our mission. Participants will have the opportunity to bid on stallion seasons from many different breeds. From Thoroughbreds to Quarter Horses and even an Imported Belgian Warmblood! All proceeds from this auction go to directly to New Vocations or CANTER, another non-profit equine adoption program.

CANTER Ohio is an all- volunteer organization that has representatives at two Ohio racetracks, Beulah Park and Thistledown. Every week their volunteers walk the shedrows of these tracks, networking with trainers and owners to identify horses in need. Since their inception in 2001, CANTER Ohio has taken in 520 racehorses and placed 459 of those horses into loving homes and new careers.

Remember, all stallion season donations to New Vocations or CANTER are tax- deductible.
